If a voice is clipping (to me, it's volume that's too loud for the microphone to accurately replicate and incurs loss), is there anything you can do to smooth it out? If so, what app/filter would do this?If the voice is compressed-sounding (though there's little or no compression) meaning just general low quality, poor, mono-ish speaking-through-a-shirt-10-feet-from-a-mic kind of audio, is there any filters/apps that can brighten/clean up the sound (not sure what this is called). Most of the problems with the audio I receive is in the way of distortion, clipping and volume.First off, I don't know the proper terminology for most of this, just using terms loosely until I'm (surely) corrected - View image here:. Hi all, We get a lot of voice over work from around the world and half the time we get back some shoddy, terrible audio that we have to, well, make do with.
